About Me

I guess this really sums me up. I have lots of passions, but my secret one would be the Pats and blogging. As you can see I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and love the Pats and the colour pink. I'm also older than I look -- I'm nearly twenty, just one month younger than Jordan Eberle.

As an avid Regina Pats fan, I feel like it is my duty to fill a void in their coverage. My aim is to give three perspectives, all smooshed into one: (1) young-ish — i.e. 20, (2) girl, (3) and non-reporter. As a young-ish girl who isn’t a reporter who strives on press releases, I have more freedom to express my thoughts that either you are thinking or that get you thinking. To add to that, I can also shoot the breeze about stuff that I find in my prowling for information, such as the behind the scenes or other fun facts. One other key thing — because I am a fairly new die-hard fan, I love to learn about new information, especially what the players are like, how they train, what they do outside of the rink, etc. So, if anyone has fun and interesting tidbits, let me know!

As for who I am, well that’s a bit of a secret. I’ll tell you that I’m twenty, I live in Regina, and I never liked hockey until a few years ago. Surprisingly, I grew to love watching hockey during the World Juniors one Christmas and that love has just grown. Obviously, my favourite team is the Pats. My favourite player? None other than Jordan Eberle, though I do find many other players really awesome and cannot discount their efforts (not to mention their good looks). I also have a great appreciation for how hard these guys work, since I compete at an elite level in a completely unrelated sport. I guess for me, hockey is a break from the rest of my life. And, it’s a good break.
